About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced title insurance closer who is great at multi-tasking and enjoys providing excellent customer service while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain responsibility for any unresolved curative items on files in the closing pipeline by coordinating with the appropriate teams and communicating updates and status to the client
- Enter closing disclosure data (e.g., lender closing costs, payoff amounts, taxes, interest rates) into the system
- Coordinate with lenders to balance closing disclosure figures by providing revisions when necessary
- Calculate interest and payoff figures
- Research property tax payment status and amounts
- Schedule notaries/attorneys based on requested signing details
- Prepare, review, and electronically deliver closing packages for closing
- Heavily communicate updates, delays, and other information to all parties to the transaction (e.g., lenders, borrowers, notaries)
- Monitor and maintain the daily funding report, ensuring loans are disbursed on time and correctly
- Review expected disbursements ahead of time to prevent monetary loss for any parties as well as obtain any missing items required for disbursement by coordinating with the appropriate parties, including invoices or disbursement instructions
- Review signed closing packages for completeness and accuracy
- Communicate inaccuracies and potential delays to the client immediately upon identification and provide consistent updates until resolution is met
- Resolve issues that will delay disbursement by communicating directly with borrowers, notaries, and lenders
- Review our fees and figures in ResWare against those on the final Closing Disclosure and make any necessary adjustments to balance with incoming lender wires
- Work cohesively with the Escrow team to resolve any disbursement discrepancies and disbursement delays
- Complete tasks and respond to emails / phone calls in adherence with Company and Department SLS (Service Level Standards)
- Ensure that all state specific compliance requirements/processes are met and adhered to.
- Liaise with other departments and third parties in order to coordinate effectively
- Manage varying client expectations and requirements
- Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- 2 years of closing (title insurance) experience required
- 2 years of national or multi-state experience preferred, but not required
- ResWare experience preferred, but not required
- Computer proficiency required
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule with extended or weekend hours when necessary
