Looking for an opportunity to put your cooking skills to work? Summit Food Service is hiring a Part-Time Cook to join our kitchen team at the Valley County Detention Facility in Cascade, Idaho.
No professional cooking experience? No problem! We are willing to train the right candidate. If you enjoy cooking, are dependable, and are willing to learn, we encourage you to apply!
What You'll Do
- Help prepare and cook meals according to recipes and menus.
- Assist with food preparation, portion control, and meal presentation.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitary.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food storage procedures.
- Learn to operate kitchen equipment safely.
- Work with the team to prepare quality meals on schedule.
What We're Looking For

- Attention to detail and good communication skills.
- Previous cooking or food preparation experience is a plus, but not required.
