Are you an experienced cook who enjoys leading a team and preparing quality meals? Summit Food Service is looking for a Cook Supervisor to join our kitchen team at Stutsman County LEC in Jamestown, ND!

In this role, you'll help lead daily kitchen operations, support and train team members, and ensure meals are prepared safely, on time, and to high-quality standards. If you have a culinary background and leadership skills, this is an opportunity to put your experience to work in a rewarding environment.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen activities to ensure efficient operations.
• Prepare and oversee high-quality meals, with an emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Train and instruct team members on food preparation, cooking techniques, and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure meals are served on time and meet portion, presentation, quality, and temperature standards.
• Maintain proper food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
• Help create a positive, productive environment while supporting the kitchen team.
• Ensure established food service procedures and standards are followed.

Nice to have:

• At least 1 year of culinary experience, preferably in a high-volume kitchen.
• Experience with scratch cooking and a strong understanding of food preparation techniques.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.
• A team-oriented attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Food Handler certification preferred.
