What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Cashier position at SUGAR BOWL SKI RESORT?
Sugar Bowl is looking for qualified, professional, positive and friendly lead cashiers to assist guests in our food courts. Able to oversee a small team of cashiers and ensure amazing guest service at all times. Knowledge of POS systems a plus. Great attitude a must!

Who you are
- Obtain a CA Food Handler’s Certificate and RBS alcohol certification
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Work well with others and treat guests and coworkers with respect and empathy.
What you will do
- Greet and assist guests as they approach the terminal, provide excellent guest service.
- Assure proper payment for each transaction.
- Follow proper procedures for all voids, discounts and refunds.
- Maintain the cleanliness of food service areas and dining rooms.
- Stock fruit bins, cookie & candy baskets, beverage cooler, and chip stands.
- Ensure self service beverage and condiment areas are stocked and look great.
- Maintain excellent merchandising displays.
- Help with closing procedures – vacuuming, restocking, dishes, bathrooms, etc.
- Maintain a friendly, positive, team spirit at all times.
- Polishing, vacuuming, and general cleaning of food service and dining areas.
- Clearing dirty dishes from tables.
- Perform open and close duties.
- Assist with snow removal including shoveling and clearing snow from walkways, stairs, equipment and other areas as needed
