Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, and repair framing structures using welding, mechanical knowledge, and schematics to ensure precise fit and durability.
- Conduct electrical work involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), wiring, and troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters to maintain system functionality.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to execute projects accurately.
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks including residential painting, repairs, and general upkeep of framing frameworks.
- Supervise junior team members or contractors during framing projects, providing guidance to ensure safety protocols and quality standards are met.
- Utilize YARDI software to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule routine inspections.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to welding, electrical work, and structural assembly while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing or facilities maintenance with a focus on framing or structural work.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience and familiarity with schematics.
- Skilled in welding techniques and residential painting with attention to detail.
- Ability to operate tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices confidently.
- Supervising experience or leadership skills to oversee team members effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration across teams.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow safety procedures diligently. Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
