Duties
- Engage with prospective tenants through outbound and inbound calls, virtual tours, and face-to-face interactions to promote available properties and secure lease agreements
- Conduct thorough property showings, highlighting features that meet tenant needs while emphasizing lease benefits and community amenities
- Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing, ensuring all documentation complies with Fair Housing regulations and legal standards
- Utilize Yardi, OneSite, and other property management software to accurately input data, track leads, update tenant records, and generate reports
- Negotiate lease terms, contracts, and renewal agreements confidently while maintaining positive customer relationships
- Stay informed about local landlord-tenant laws, Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations, and Fair Housing policies to ensure compliance in all leasing activities
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to coordinate move-ins/move-outs and address tenant concerns promptly
- Upsell additional services or amenities that enhance tenant satisfaction and increase revenue opportunities
- Willing to travel

Skills
- Proven experience in property leasing, sales, or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of lease contracts and negotiations
- Familiarity with Yardi, OneSite, LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing regulations, and Fair Housing laws
- Excellent customer service skills complemented by professional phone etiquette and conflict management abilities
- Strong organizational skills for data entry, filing, contract management, and maintaining accurate leasing records
- Ability to handle legal administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law and lease documentation efficiently
- Experience with facilities management software such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to upsell services while maintaining ethical standards and compliance with housing regulations
- Effective communication skills for negotiating lease terms and resolving conflicts amicably in a fast-paced environment
