Company: Structural Components Corporation (SCC) is a premier structural steel fabricator and erector that has been family owned since 1972. We are located in Green Bay on 2.8 acres with 35,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing and office space. We are dedicated to delivering steel that fits every time, even on the most challenging projects.
We are continuing our growth through the expansion of relationships with key customers and adding new equipment and technology. To support our growth, we are adding in-house Fabricators. Role: As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for reading shop drawings of steel columns and beams to cut, drill, and weld the structural steel to meet the drawing specifications.
Requirements:
- Read speak understand English
- Attendance: Ability to show up on time, 4 days per week, 6 am to 4pm with 2 breaks 5 days
- Attitude: Positive, mission-first and personal ownership/accountability
Skills:
- Ability read a tape measure: Basic skills required
- Operate Overhead Cranes: Experience is preferable or willing to be trained
- Ability to read blue prints: Experience preferred or willing to be trained
- Welding: Experience is preferable or willing to be trained
Tools Needed: We will work with you for 2-3 weeks to acquire tools

- 100’ Take Measure
- Hammer
- Center Hole Punch
- Crescent Wrench (8” or 10”)
- Set of Allen Wrenches (SAE)
- Welpers MIG Welding Pliers (Welders only)
- Welding Helmet, Lenses, Helmet Batteries (Welders Only)
