Assistant Director of Athletics and Student Activities
Category : Leadership (Non-Certficated) - Assistant Director of Athletics and Student Activites
Contract : Leadership - 26/27 School Year - 225 Days per year
Salary : Based on the Leadership Handbook and experience ($89,930.00 BASE)
Description: Assists in the direction of interscholastic athletic and extracurricular student
programs that enhance school life, facilitate individual skill development and
provide leadership opportunities.
Specific: Interviewing, selecting and evaluating coaches and student activity advisors
for Strongsville Middle School. Oversees scheduling and coordination
of athletic activities; organizing and scheduling officials; and ensuring
effective use of staff and resources as it pertains to athletics and activities.
Education: Bachelor's Degree (minimum)
Experience: Past experience as an Assistant Athletic Director in a school district setting preferred.
Past coaching experience preferred.
Strong organizational, supervisory, and administrative skills required.
Knowledge of the Ohio High School Interscholastic Athletic Association regulations required.
Requirement: Administrative License or Equivalant (CAA or RAA)
Clear federal (FBI) and state (BCI) criminal record check,
Pupil Activity Permit and all required Coaching Certificates
