Job Duties:
Plan and implement recreational and social activities
Tailor programs to meet residents’ physical, emotional, and cognitive needs
Maintain monthly activity calendars and encourage participation
Coordinate outings, entertainment, and community partnerships
Supervise activities staff and volunteers
Document participation and ensure regulatory compliance
Collaborate with nursing and therapy teams to support care plans
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; certification in recreation or related field preferred
Experience in long-term care or healthcare activities programming
Strong communication, creativity, and organizational skills
Ability to work with residents of varying abilities
Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and best practices
