What You’ll Do
You’ll partner closely with Project Managers and internal teams to ensure projects are set up correctly, tracked accurately, and invoiced confidently.
Over the course of the month, your work touches many moving pieces. At different times, you review project charges and check WIP balances to be sure everything aligns. You connect with Project Managers to clarify hours booked to complex engagements and discuss how projects are trending financially.
Throughout the month, you prepare invoices—carefully validating contracts, purchase orders, and billing terms—knowing that getting it right upfront prevents friction later. As needs arise, you help resolve client billing questions, collaborate with Credit on aging invoices, or dig into D365 to correct discrepancies ahead of month-end close.
Deadlines ebb and flow, and priorities can shift, but you’re comfortable navigating that rhythm. You stay calm under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and take pride in delivering clean, reliable financials others depend on. In the end you know your work has enabled engineers to stay focused on solving tomorrow’s challenges—because the financial foundation is rock solid

What You’ll Do

- Own project setup and financial data in D365 Finance & Operations
- Collaborate with Project Managers to review charges, manage WIP, deferred revenue, and ensure overall project profitability
- Prepare accurate, timely, and professional client invoices
- Resolve purchase order and contract questions tied to project billing
- Ensure the integrity of WIP and deferred revenue balances
- Work alongside Credit and Project Managers to support collections
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to reporting, analysis, and special projects as needed
- Uphold accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies with precision

What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of general accounting experience
- Experience billing in engineering, consulting, or professional fee-based organizations
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills; D365 F&O experience preferred
- Power BI experience is a plus
- Analytical mindset with sharp attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a high-expectation environment
- Confident communicator and collaborative partner
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
