Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project-level contract set up, SOVs, and change orders
- Complete monthly progress billings with accuracy and on time for multiple projects
- Review and process subcontractor and vendor invoices and statements, budgeting for payments and collecting waivers
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and accurate billing and collections.
- Maintain accurate documentation for project audits, compliance, and reporting requirements.
- Assist in month-end close processes by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in project accounting procedures.
- Coordinate with AP, AR, and payroll departments to ensure project financial accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Minimum 2 years of project accounting experience, preferably in construction or electrical contracting.
- Familiarity with project billing, job cost reporting, and WIP schedules.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems such as Viewpoint Vista, Sage, or similar.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas).
- High attention to detail, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with field and office teams.
