Strat Media is a Vancouver-based marketing agency specializing in social media strategy, paid advertising, and content production for growing brands.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Social Media Content Creator who enjoys making short-form videos and managing social media channels. You’ll collaborate in-person with a small team and company owners to produce video content, edit clips, manage posting schedules, and help shape our brand’s voice on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience who demonstrate a strong portfolio, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
What You’ll Do
- Edit and produce short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories, etc.)
- Manage social media accounts: build content calendars, schedule posts, and monitor engagement
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing team on ideas, captions, and platform-specific adaptations
- Maintain and organize creative assets (footage, templates, brand guidelines)
- Track performance metrics (views, engagement, growth) and suggest improvements
- Stay current on social media trends, editing tools, and best practices
What We’re Looking For
- A portfolio of social media accounts you’ve managed and videos you’ve created
- Video editing skills (Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, etc.)
- Strong written communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to collaborate in-office and meet deadlines
- Eagerness to grow in social media and video content creation
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–2 years of social media management experience or a strong portfolio
- Familiarity with analytics tools (Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics, etc.)
- Basic design experience (Canva, After Effects, or templates)
- Adaptability to new tools, formats, and trending topics
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: $28–$35 per hour (depending on experience and portfolio)
