Strat Media is a Vancouver-based marketing agency specializing in social media strategy, paid advertising, and content production for growing brands.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Video Editor who enjoys making short-form videos and using AI tools to support content and ad creation. This role will also involve helping create Meta ads using AI instruments and prompts, including assisting with scripting, visuals, and creative variations.
You’ll collaborate in-person with a small team and company owners to produce video content, edit clips and manage posting schedules. We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience who demonstrate a strong portfolio, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
What You’ll Do
- Edit and produce short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories, etc.)
- Create Meta ads using AI tools and prompting techniques
- Track performance metrics (views, engagement, growth) and suggest improvements
- Stay current on social media trends, editing tools, and best practices
What We’re Looking For
- A portfolio of videos you’ve created
- Video editing skills (Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, etc.)
- Basic familiarity with AI tools and prompting for content or ad creation
- Strong written communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to collaborate in-office and meet deadlines
- Eagerness to grow in video content creation
Preferred Qualifications
- A strong portfolio
- Familiarity with analytics tools (Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics, etc.)
- Basic design experience (Canva, After Effects, or templates)
- Adaptability to new tools, formats, and trending topics
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: $28–$35 per hour (depending on experience and portfolio)
