Forward-Deployed Manufacturing Engineer

💰 $130,000 – $143,000 base salary variable compensation
What You’ll Do
- Travel to customer manufacturing facilities (primarily across North America) to lead on-site deployments
- Install, integrate, and support physical equipment in live production environments
- Tune and optimize AI systems using real manufacturing data, including images and test results
- Improve system performance by adjusting configurations, labels, and workflows on-site
- Partner directly with factory engineers, operators, and stakeholders to drive adoption and trust
- Translate real-world manufacturing conditions into actionable improvements to tools and systems
- Own mission success from deployment through impact delivery
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of experience in electronics manufacturing (engineering or operations)
- Experience in OEM or EMS environments strongly preferred
- Deep familiarity with factory environments, workflows, and production constraints
- Comfortable working on-site in manufacturing facilities and operating in hands-on environments
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 80% during peak periods)
- Strong problem-solving skills across hardware, software, and process challenges
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with customers and stakeholders
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus
