Position Summary
A growing manufacturing company in the access solutions industry is seeking Regional Territory Managers to lead field sales efforts across designated U.S. regions. These roles focus on driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and strengthening relationships with distributors, contractors, and key commercial/industrial accounts. The position blends business development, account management, and in-field strategic selling.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan to meet assigned revenue goals.
- Build new relationships with distributors, contractors, and strategic commercial/industrial accounts.
- Manage and expand existing customer relationships, identifying opportunities for additional product adoption.
- Conduct in-person customer visits, site walk-throughs, trainings, and product presentations.
- Partner with internal teams to relay market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights.
- Attend regional trade shows and industry events to promote products and solutions.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and territory performance reports.
- Coordinate with other Territory Managers on shared accounts and cross-regional strategy.
- Ensure all sales activities follow company policies and relevant safety/compliance guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (engineering or construction-related field ideal).
- 5 years of outside sales experience in industrial/commercial products, construction solutions, or related markets.
- Proven success managing a multi-state territory and meeting revenue targets.
- Knowledge of access-related equipment such as ramps, platforms, stairs, or similar industrial/commercial solutions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel frequently within the region (70–80%).
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and effective at managing a field-based schedule.
