Health & Safety Engineer
Bloomsburg, PA
We're partnering with a leading manufacturing organization seeking a Health & Safety Engineer to support and enhance safety initiatives within a dynamic production environment.
This position will work closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to drive OSHA compliance, reduce risk, investigate incidents, and strengthen the overall safety culture across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
• Support and maintain Health & Safety programs and regulatory compliance initiatives
• Conduct incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action follow-up
• Perform safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Analyze safety metrics and identify opportunities for injury reduction
• Lead and support industrial hygiene initiatives, exposure monitoring, and PPE programs
• Develop and deliver employee safety training
• Partner with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to proactively address workplace hazards
• Assist with implementation of continuous improvement and safety culture initiatives
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required (Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field preferred)
• 1 years of Health & Safety experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance programs
• Experience with incident investigations, risk assessments, and safety training
• Industrial Hygiene, ergonomics, or Behavior Based Safety experience is highly preferred
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
