Available Positions
Communications and Outreach Project Manager - Responsible for all facets of communications and outreach project management, including timeline development, interpreting, preparing and reviewing content, creating task orders and scopes of work for the procurement process, managing deadlines and budget, reviewing invoices, coordinator outreach staff and logistics and other tasks applicable to implementing plans following the Public Participation Plan. Work with department point-of-contacts, project managers and other staff to confirm Title VI and compliance and ensure all materials and deadlines meet the appropriate standards. Write, edit, review and produce high-quality public communications materials and professional reports for Title VI, Board of Directors and other submittals. Maintain tracking, recordkeeping and other documentation as required by the FTA and PPP, including updating and maintaining the PPP database. Develop training programs, which may include, but are not limited to, internal staff training for Public Participation Plan efforts or project-specific outreach team training. Serves as a brand ambassador at a wide variety of outreach events and meetings, which includes giving presentations, building stakeholder relationships, distributing surveys and other communication methods.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: B.A. in Communications, Public Affairs/Public Relations, Business, Planning or a related field. Minimum of six years of experience of progressively responsible experience in communications project management, preferable in a large service organization setting. Bilingual skills a plus.
