Bartender – Stonehurst Manor

Stonehurst Manor is seeking a friendly, professional, and hospitality-driven Bartender to join our team. As the face of our Library Lounge and an integral part of the guest experience, you'll create memorable moments through exceptional service, expertly crafted beverages, and genuine New England hospitality.

ResponsibilitiesGuest Service

• Welcome guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Provide attentive, personalized service while building rapport with guests.
• Offer recommendations on cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, and menu items.
• Anticipate guest needs and ensure an exceptional experience from arrival to departure.

Beverage Preparation

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and service standards.
• Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation in every drink served.
• Stay knowledgeable about seasonal cocktails, featured wines, and specialty offerings.

Bar Operations

• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service.
• Monitor inventory and communicate shortages or ordering needs to management.
• Accurately process guest checks, payments, and room charges.
• Follow all New Hampshire liquor laws and responsible alcohol service practices.

Teamwork

• Support servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
• Assist with dining room service when needed.
• Complete opening, closing, and side work duties efficiently and thoroughly.
• Help create a positive and professional work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to hospitality excellence.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
