Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience. A background in food safety, POS systems, and retail math is highly valued to deliver efficient service and maintain high standards of quality.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using POS systems such as Positouch POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness of the bar area according to food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities.
- Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, menu offerings, and specials to upsell effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to food handling and beverage service.
- Assist with catering events, banquets, or private parties as needed, providing exceptional service in various settings including nightclubs and fine dining establishments.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple tables or bar patrons without compromising quality or speed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and tab management.
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
