About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading national labor and employment law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Employment Litigation Associate to join its San Francisco office. This role offers the opportunity to manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution while working alongside experienced attorneys on complex workplace disputes.
The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of employment litigation experience and a strong foundation in California labor and employment law.
Responsibilities
- Manage employment litigation matters from start to finish.
- Handle California wage and hour disputes, including class actions and PAGA claims.
- Defend and prosecute employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and related workplace claims.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and discovery responses.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Prepare for hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings.
- Collaborate with attorneys and clients on litigation strategy and case management.
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of employment litigation experience.
- Experience handling California labor and employment matters.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Active California Bar admission required.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Must have employment litigation experience

Compensation
Base Salary: $230,000 – $260,000
