The Opportunity
The Sales and Customer Service Manager oversees the day-to-day execution of the company’s annual sales plan, including the development of sales goals, management of customer service standards, and accountability for team performance. This role ensures consistent implementation of sales strategies and fosters strong relationships with customers while driving revenue growth.
The ideal candidate brings a balance of relational leadership and technical understanding, enabling them to build strong customer relationships while also understanding the operational and technical aspects of selling in a manufacturing environment. This individual will partner closely with leadership to drive accountability, improve sales processes, and strengthen the company’s position in the market.
Additional performance-based incentive compensation is available and tied to overall sales results and team performance.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Hires, trains, and develops sales and customer service team members
- Organizes and manages team schedules, workflows, territories, and performance expectations
- Conducts timely and constructive performance evaluations
- Provides coaching and development to support individual and team success
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the sales and customer service teams to achieve annual sales and revenue goals
- Develop and implement the annual sales plan, including measurable goals and KPIs
- Monitor and drive accountability for individual and team performance
- Analyze sales performance and market trends; adjust strategies as needed
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve escalated customer concerns
- Identify customer needs, market feedback, and growth opportunities to guide sales focus
- Oversee and support the use of CRM systems to manage pipeline visibility and customer interactions
- Evaluate sales data and operational metrics to improve team effectiveness and decision making
- Prepare and manage sales and customer service budgets
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and executive leadership to align company initiatives
- Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows as required
- Support the development and implementation of improved sales processes and systems
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Experience using a CRM system; experience implementing or improving CRM systems is a plus
- Background in industrial or manufacturing sales environments preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
- Occasional travel may be required

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
