What You’ll Do…
As the Mid-Level Program/Technical Advisor, you’ll serve as a technical expert supporting one of STI Federal’s federal client organizations, providing scientific, regulatory, and operational guidance to advance research and development programs. You’ll provide scientific, regulatory, and operational guidance to ensure program integrity, quality, and compliance. In this role, you’ll engage in technical reviews, contribute to strategy development, and evaluate progress toward key milestones across multidisciplinary teams. Your work will directly advance STI Federal’s mission to deliver exceptional support to federal partners serving critical national initiatives.

- Guide program execution – Provide advisory support in scientific, technical, and programmatic areas to ensure successful delivery of objectives.
- Strengthen compliance – Evaluate documentation and data for alignment with regulatory and scientific standards.
- Advance technical collaboration – Participate in cross-agency and industry working groups to facilitate coordinated development efforts.
- Contribute to strategic planning – Analyze and present findings to inform leadership decisions and policy recommendations.
- Promote innovation – Identify emerging technologies and best practices that support efficient research and product development.

Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate or advanced degree in biological or chemical sciences, medicine, pharmacy, computer science, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant industry experience.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postdoctoral or advanced professional experience in a related scientific discipline.
- Experience supporting medical countermeasure development or pharmaceutical regulatory programs.
Compensation & Work Environment
- Estimated Salary Range: $110,000 - $135,000, dependent on experience.
- Environment: Work will be performed at a secure facility in Washington, D.C., with potential for a hybrid schedule for candidates residing within 50 miles of the site.
Note: This position is being advertised in anticipation of contract award. Employment is contingent upon STI Federal’s successful contract award and subsequent task order funding.
