Rapidly growing, privately held company located in the heart of West Palm Beach is seeking a motivated, Senior Corporate Accounting Manager. This role reports directly to the CFO and is open due to organizational growth.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supervising certain financial statements on a monthly basis
- Assist with the preparation of monthly reporting
- Assist in the preparation for and reviewing the annual audited financial statements for the external audit
- Assist management in generating financial schedules and other items for internal and external reporting
- Communicate and explain accounting issues and evolving accounting guidance to the CFO and Controller
- Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure financial statements are in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Monitor bank covenant compliance
- Support management with special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum 6 years accounting experience, Public Accounting experience and CPA strongly desired
- Working knowledge of financial statement preparation and presentation
- Thorough understanding of GAAP
- Strong analytical and problem solving ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment
