Senior Accountant – | South Florida ONLY | Mostly Remote (Inventory Experience Required)
What You'll Do:
- Own the monthly reconciliation of inventory general ledger balances, investigating and resolving variances
- Monitor, validate, and approve inventory adjustments to ensure accuracy and proper accounting treatment
- Coordinate and oversee cycle count programs across all branch locations
- Develop and maintain inventory control policies and procedures to drive consistency across the organization
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and partner with branch operations to identify root causes and implement solutions
- Prepare and publish monthly inventory financial reports, communicating trends and findings to management
- Serve as the go-to resource for inventory accounting questions across all branch locations
- Ensure proper application of costing methodologies in accordance with company policy and GAAP
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- 4 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years focused on inventory management
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools
- Solid understanding of inventory valuation methods and costing principles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
