What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interim Corporate Controller position at StevenDouglas?
StevenDouglas is partnering with a mid-sized private-equity backed client in Charlotte, NC in their search for an interim Corporate Controller. This position will be initially remote based, but will transition to hybrid in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Corporate Controllership for the headquarters including audit, compliance and technical accounting, as well as debt compliance, treasury management, and will oversee consolidations and compliance activities
- Manage AP/AR consolidations
- Implement and optimize a new ERP system
- Drive automation initiatives including: AP automation tools, and unified treasury platform (or TMS)
- Collaborate with FP&A team on consolidations and reporting
- Handle intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and cash applications across multiple entities
- Support system integrations and front-end tools (Power BI, Reconciliation tools)
- Ensure compliance with PE environmental standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience supporting entities with $350M-$1B in revenue
- Corporate Controller experience within multi-entity PE-backed environment
- Strong background in technical accounting, audit and compliance, debt compliance
- Proficiency in Power BI, reconciliation tools, and AP automation
- Strong understanding of consolidations, intercompany transactions, and cash management
- Comfortable working in a small team environment
Salary : $70 - $80
