What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interim Controller position at StevenDouglas?
StevenDouglas is partnering with a client in Charlotte, NC in search of an Interim Controller. The expected duration is 3 months and this position will work in-office 5 days/week.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the month-end close process
- Preparation of budgets and monthly forecasts
- Ensure accurate financial statements, and prepare reporting packages
- Provide financial insights, variance analysis, and KPIs to leadership
- Oversee accounting operations, identify gaps in accounting workflows and identify areas for improvement/efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance
- Over 7 years of progressive experience
- Ability to work in office 5-days/week
- PE-backed company experience is preferred
- CPA is preferred
- NetSuite experience is preferred, or experience with a similar sized ERP system
Salary : $80 - $100
