WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Oversee and manage the full accounting cycle for multiple sites, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across the organization.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, focusing on reducing close time and improving efficiency.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, filling staffing gaps and ensuring the team functions cohesively and effectively.
- Partner with senior leadership to offer strategic financial insights, inform decision-making, and drive business growth.
A BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, accounting, or related field
- Professional certification, such as CPA (certified public accountant)
- 7–10 years of experience of professional accounting experience, with expertise in multisite operations and services-based businesses.
- Extensive experience with NetSuite, including system optimization and utilizing its full financial suite to improve efficiency and reporting.
- Proven ability to reduce close time and implement process improvements in accounting and financial reporting.
- Strong leadership experience, capable of managing and developing accounting teams while addressing resource gaps.
- Solid understanding of financial regulations, internal controls, and compliance, with a focus on ensuring accuracy and integrity in reporting.
