StevenDouglas has been retained on an outstanding Director of Accounting search in Austin, Texas. This Company is a top performer in their industry space nationally. Company growth is both organic and through M&A.
Reporting to the VP of Accounting, the Director of Accounting will oversee the accounting for this high growth, PE backed Company. This includes financial statement production, financial reporting, month end/ quarter end/ year end close. This role will manage a team of 8 (AR, Inventory and General Accounting.)
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
5-8 years of experience
Strong working GAAP knowledge, specifically strengths in financial reporting.
Inventory experience would be a plus
Systems : NetSuite, Bill.com strongly preferred
Working schedule for this role is 4 days in office and 1 day remote.
