Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this role will support pricing strategy and execution across the product portfolio. This role will partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Revenue Management to optimize pricing, drive margin expansion, and enhance overall profitability in a highly competitive CPG environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze pricing performance across SKUs, channels, and customers to identify risks and opportunities
- Develop and maintain pricing models to support margin optimization, promotional effectiveness, and trade spend ROI
- Partner with Sales and Customer teams to evaluate pricing proposals, customer agreements, and discount structures
- Support annual pricing reviews, price increases, and go-to-market strategies
- Monitor competitor pricing, market trends, and retailer dynamics to inform pricing decisions
- Evaluate promotional and trade spend effectiveness
- Build dashboards and reporting to track KPIs such as price realization, gross margin, and net revenue
- Assist in development of pricing governance, policies, and approval workflows
- Collaborate with Finance on forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis related to pricing and revenue
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, FP&A, or analytics—CPG or retail
- Strong analytical and modeling skills (advanced Excel required; experience with SQL, Python, or BI tools a plus)
- Familiarity with trade promotion management (TPM) and/or revenue growth management (RGM) concepts
- Experience working with large datasets and translating insights into actionable recommendations
- Strong business partnering and communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a CPG environment with exposure to retailers such as grocery, mass, or e-commerce channels
- Exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and pricing or revenue management tools
