IT Business Analyst (Contract – 3–6 Months)
We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to strengthen our team and support a critical phase of our ERP and eCommerce transformation. This temporary (approximately 3–6 month) contract role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact, multi-year, multi-company implementation initiative.
Working closely with the Enterprise Project Manager, the IT Business Analyst will play a key role in driving project execution, ensuring alignment across teams, and supporting the successful delivery of ERP and eCommerce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and manage tasks related to ERP and eCommerce initiatives, ensuring timely progress and completion
- Identify and resolve issues, collaborating with the Project Manager and team to develop effective solutions
- Monitor change requests and project expenses to help maintain budget adherence
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Jira tickets, statuses, and assignments, with clear visibility into task ownership and timelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including multiple subsidiary companies and third-party integration vendors
- Own task completion and communicate updates, risks, and blockers proactively and clearly
- Develop a strong understanding of project goals, milestones, and deliverables
- Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including schedule creation and stakeholder engagement
- Support planning, testing, training, and implementation of systems and integrations
- Facilitate project meetings when the Project Manager is unavailable
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders through open, honest, and respectful communication
- Apply solution-oriented thinking to overcome project challenges and roadblocks
- Gather and analyze business requirements; create documentation such as requirements, training materials, and user guides
- Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience with external software integrations
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and shift context efficiently
- Strong skills in strategy development and execution
- Experience with vendor management and coordination
- Knowledge of change management and risk management practices
- Experience with QA/testing processes
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year) or higher required
- ERP integration experience is a plus
- eCommerce experience is a plus
Salary : $50 - $60
