We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This flexible opportunity is ideal for clinicians looking to supplement their schedule while helping residents improve mobility and functional independence.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist residents with gait training, strengthening, balance activities, transfers, and therapeutic exercise programs
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed to maximize functional outcomes
- Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members
- Complete timely and accurate documentation
- Flexible PRN scheduling
- Collaborative rehabilitation team with PT, OT, SLP, and nursing professionals
- Opportunity to work with short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents
- Supportive leadership and resident-focused care
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant license required
