Help skilled nursing residents work through the challenges that affect personal care and daily participation, using your clinical judgment to build treatment around their abilities, priorities, and recovery needs.
What You'll Do
- Assess daily living performance, upper-extremity function, cognition, and activity tolerance.
- Establish individualized plans of care with measurable goals for meaningful daily activities.
- Provide treatment for dressing, bathing, toileting, functional transfers, and other tasks important to residents.
- Trial adaptive equipment and teach residents and caregivers techniques that support safer task completion.
- Review functional progress, revise treatment plans, and supervise COTA services.
- Complete clinical documentation and collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation colleagues on care strategies and discharge recommendations.
- $50–$55 per hour.
- PRN assignments arranged according to your availability and facility coverage needs.
- Unlimited referral bonus, with up to $1,000 per successful referral.
- Support from therapy leadership and collaboration across the rehabilitation team.
- Active New Hampshire Occupational Therapist license.
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and treatment planning skills.
- Effective communication and timely, accurate documentation.
- Skilled nursing or post-acute experience is a plus; new graduates are welcome to apply.
Salary : $50 - $55
