Your work will focus on helping skilled nursing residents return to familiar activities, whether that means rebuilding self-care skills or learning a different approach to tasks affected by illness or injury.
What You'll Do
- Assess daily living abilities, cognition, upper-extremity function, and activity tolerance to determine rehabilitation needs.
- Establish personalized goals that reflect residents' priorities and the demands of their anticipated discharge setting.
- Deliver treatment for dressing, bathing, toileting, functional transfers, and other meaningful activities.
- Select adaptive equipment and teach residents and caregivers strategies for managing tasks safely.
- Reevaluate performance, adjust plans of care, and oversee COTA treatment.
- Maintain clear clinical documentation and share recommendations with nursing and the rehabilitation team.
- $50–$55 per hour.
- PRN coverage coordinated with your availability and facility needs.
- Unlimited referral bonus, with up to $1,000 per successful referral.
- Collaboration with care team members and support from therapy leadership.
- Active New Hampshire Occupational Therapist license.
- Strong evaluation skills and practical treatment planning.
- Effective communication and accurate, timely documentation.
- Skilled nursing or post-acute experience is helpful; new graduates are welcome to apply.
Salary : $50 - $55
