Overview
We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to support high-volume hiring for a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Buffalo Grove. This role will focus on full-cycle recruiting for direct positions across multiple product lines and departments. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for manufacturing and technical roles and be comfortable managing a high requisition load while partnering closely with internal HR and hiring managers. This is an onsite role requiring consistent collaboration and the ability to move quickly in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for direct manufacturing and technical positions
- Support hiring for roles ranging from entry-level to skilled technical positions including:
- Machine Operators
- Material Handlers
- Automation Technicians
- Maintenance Technicians
- Process Technicians
- Assembly Supervisors
- Engineering roles (as needed)
- Partner closely with internal HR team and multiple hiring managers across product lines
- Source, screen, and qualify candidates for skilled manufacturing positions
- Manage up to 35 active requisitions simultaneously
- Maintain strong candidate pipelines to support ongoing hiring needs
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Utilize ATS/VMS systems to track candidate activity and hiring progress
- Coordinate interview scheduling including virtual and onsite interviews
- Help drive recruiting efforts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Support hiring timelines and ensure requisitions move efficiently
Qualifications
- 3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in manufacturing or technical environments
- Experience recruiting for skilled positions such as technicians, supervisors, and engineers preferred
- Manufacturing recruiting experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work onsite Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong collaboration skills with internal HR teams and hiring managers
- Experience using applicant tracking systems required
- Experience with Workday (ATS/VMS) strongly preferred
- Familiarity with VMS systems and Kronos is a plus
- Agency recruiting background acceptable with stable work history
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to move quickly and prioritize competing demands
