The Electrical Test Technician is responsible for performing high-voltage electrical testing, wiring validation, and system verification on power distribution equipment. This position involves high voltage systems and more advanced testing responsibilities.
Job Duties:
- Perform electrical testing on high-voltage power distribution systems and assemblies.
- Conduct tap-offs and wiring verification according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- Verify assemblies meet safety, quality, and customer standards.
- Document test procedures, results, and quality records accurately.
- Ensure compliance with all workplace safety requirements and best practices.
- Support production ramp-up efforts as shifts and workloads expand.
- Troubleshoot basic electrical issues.
- Assist in mentoring and training less experienced technicians.
- Technical school graduate or entry-level electrical experience with strong willingness to learn.
- Prior experience in electrical testing or wiring; high-voltage systems preferred; strong troubleshooting ability and safety focus.
- Able to work independently with moderate supervision.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with power distribution, switchgear, or similar equipment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
Salary : $26 - $30
