About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated engineering professional to support equipment reliability, uptime, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in optimizing plant performance through data-driven maintenance strategies, root cause analysis, and collaboration with operations, sanitation, and engineering teams.
The ideal candidate brings a strong mechanical aptitude, experience working with CMMS platforms, and a passion for improving equipment performance through predictive and preventative maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structured root cause analysis (RCA) initiatives to identify failure trends and implement corrective actions that improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
- Evaluate and enhance preventive maintenance strategies through data analysis, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Support the transition from reactive and preventative maintenance approaches to predictive maintenance utilizing equipment performance data
- Develop and interpret technical drawings to support fabrication, modification, and optimization of mechanical components
- Partner with OEMs and vendors to implement equipment upgrades, improve system performance, and ensure proper documentation and spare parts strategy
- Contribute technical expertise to capital improvement projects, including equipment upgrades, replacements, and new production line implementation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, sanitation, engineering, and maintenance teams to support operational goals and improve asset performance
- Assist in establishing best practices related to maintenance programs, safety initiatives, and technical training
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (food or beverage experience preferred)
- 2 years of experience supporting maintenance, reliability, or industrial engineering initiatives
- Experience utilizing CMMS systems to manage maintenance programs and asset data
- Working knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Demonstrated ability to analyze equipment data and implement performance improvements
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with hands-on mechanical aptitude
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and operational teams
- Self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Salary : $85,000 - $110,000
