You’ll lead small-scale production runs, optimize processes, and ensure product quality, safety, and efficiency while supporting innovation and future growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all Pilot Plant operations and resources.
- Oversee small-scale production runs and distribution for trials and consumer tests.
- Optimize workflows, equipment, and spaces to improve efficiency and innovation.
- Manage the Pilot Plant budget, staffing, and operational programs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Coach and develop Pilot Plant team members.
- Minimally 5 years in Food & Beverage R&D or process engineering, with team leadership experience.
- Knowledge of food safety, GMPs, sanitary design, and manufacturing operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Food Engineering, Food Science, or related field.
- Familiarity with Acidified, Low Acid, High Acid, Carbonation, and Fermentation processes.
