Principal Architect
Frisco, TX
We’re looking for a Principal Architect to lead solution architecture across pre-sales, business development, and technical strategy. You’ll partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to design scalable, secure, and commercially viable cloud solutions that win business and align with long-term platform strategy.
This is a senior, customer-facing role focused on solution definition, proposals, and architectural governance rather than day-to-day delivery. You’ll act as a trusted technical advisor to both customers and internal leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Lead technical discovery, solution design, and architectural input for bids, RFPs, and proposals
- Translate business problems into clear, compelling solution architectures
- Define and govern architectural standards aligned with security, compliance (SOC 2, PCI-DSS), and cloud cost controls
- Design scalable, data-intensive cloud architectures
- Present and defend technical solutions to senior customer stakeholders
- Mentor architects and senior engineers and influence technical direction
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years as a Lead or Principal Architect on complex, cloud-based SaaS platforms
- Strong experience with SOC 2 / PCI-DSS governed systems
- Deep background in data-centric architectures and transactional systems
- Pre-sales or customer-facing technical experience highly desirable
- Strong communicator, comfortable in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
