We are looking for a SharePoint Migration SME to lead a major data migration and modern workplace adoption project!
Key Position Details
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 3 days/week onsite)
- Location: Concord, NH
- Schedule: 37.5 hours/week (Flexibility needed for planned off-hours maintenance)
- Interview Process: Webcam or In-Person
Note on Remote: Candidates with direct experience migrating data from Canvas LMS to SharePoint Online may be considered for a fully remote arrangement.
Key Skills & Requirements
We are seeking a hands-on technical lead who can also bridge the gap with business stakeholders.
Must-Have Core Skills
- SharePoint Migration: Hands-on experience executing complex data migrations using ShareGate.
- SharePoint Online Administration: Expert-level site architecture, permissions, and configuration.
- M365 Ecosystem: Integration experience across Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
- Techno-Functional SME: Proven ability to gather business requirements, design solution specs, and present directly to leadership.
- Governance & Adoption: Experience setting up M365 governance, leading change initiatives, and delivering training to non-technical users.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are mandatory.
Bonus / Desired Experience
- Direct experience migrating content from Canvas or other LMS platforms.
- Government, public sector, or education-sector data compliance knowledge (e.g., FERPA).
Primary Responsibilities
- Migrate structured and unstructured data from shared network drives and off-campus applications to SharePoint Online.
- Work directly with division leaders to define information architecture, security models, and compliance policies.
- Lead change management, develop user documentation, and deliver staff training to maximize modern workplace adoption.
