We are seeking a high-level SCCM/Systems Engineer for a long-term engagement in Columbia, SC. This role is ideal for an expert in Microsoft ecosystem management and government-level security compliance.
Location & Work Arrangement
- Location: Columbia, SC (Must be a current South Carolina resident).
- Arrangement: Hybrid (3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote).
- Status: Full-Time Contract with 24/7 on-call rotation.
Interview Process
- One Round: A single, comprehensive virtual interview (Phone/Video).
Key Technical Skills
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate expert-level experience in:
- Endpoint Management: 5 years with SCCM / MECM / Intune and MDM.
- Cloud Security: 3 years managing Microsoft GCC High Tenants.
- Compliance: Deep familiarity with IRS Pub 1075 regulations and STIG Hardening.
- Infrastructure: Windows Server (2019/2022/2025), VMware virtualization, and SQL Clustering.
- Automation: Advanced PowerShell scripting for administrative tasks.
- Networking: Strong understanding of LAN/VLAN and Hyperconverged Infrastructure.
Requirements
- Residency: Must currently reside in South Carolina (No relocation).
- Background: Must pass a nationwide criminal, credit, and state tax history check.
- Education: Bachelor's degree 2 years' experience, OR Associate's 4 years, OR HS Diploma 6 years.
- Public Sector: Prior experience working directly for a State Agency is highly preferred.
