Hiring: Senior Data Developer (Oracle / COTS Solutions)

We are looking for a senior-level Data Developer to design, develop, and maintain database structures, PL/SQL code, and data integrations for enterprise applications.
 

Position Overview

  • Role: Data Developer / Programmer Analyst 6
  • Location: Lansing, MI
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite 2 days/week: Tuesdays & Wednesdays required)
  • Interview Process: Up to 2 rounds (In-person interviews required)

Key Highlighted Skills & Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should have 8 years of experience in:
 
  • Core Database & Development: Oracle, PL/SQL (Packages, Procedures, Functions), and database objects (tables, views, triggers, indexes).
  • Developer Tools: Toad or SQL Developer.
  • Data Architecture: Logical & Physical Data Modeling, Database Normalization, and Data Analysis.
  • Integrations & Services: Web Services (REST / SOAP) and ETL processes.
  • Data Operations: Data Migration, Data Conversion, and COTS / Vendor Systems integration.
  • Soft Skills: Clear written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and independent judgment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions.
  • Execute data migration and system integrations with COTS solutions.
  • Collaborate with Data Architects and DBAs on performance tuning and database best practices.
  • Analyze metadata and troubleshoot complex data issues to ensure integrity.
