IT Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst (BA) to drive project initiation, technology procurements, and business systems analysis. This role focuses heavily on compiling documentation for new acquisitions, vendor contracts, and in-house development.

Logistics & Work Environment

• Location: Atlanta, GA
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (1 day onsite per week, remote the rest)
• Interview Process: Web Cam initial screening, followed by a mandatory In-Person interview

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement Support: Draft Statements of Work (SOW), solicitation packages, and vendor evaluation criteria for technology solutions.
• Requirements Management: Gather, analyze, and manage complex functional, non-functional, and data requirements.
• Process & UI Modeling: Document detailed AS-IS & TO-BE workflows and create user interface mockups/wireframes.
• Stakeholder Facilitation: Lead interviews, workshops, and Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions.
• SDLC Collaboration: Bridge the gap between business units and technical execution teams (Designers, Developers, QA).

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have Minimum Qualification: 5 years of verified experience across all core areas below.

• 5 Years as an IT Business Analyst supporting system implementations or tech procurements.
• 5 Years drafting Statements/Scope of Work (SOW) for vendor contracting.
• 5 Years documenting AS-IS / TO-BE workflows and UI Mockups.
• 5 Years leading stakeholder interviews and facilitating JAD sessions.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is required.

Preferred (Stand-Out) Qualifications

• Active CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification.
• Public sector or government IT project experience.
• Proficiency with Jira, ServiceNow, Visio, or Balsamiq.
