Key Responsibilities & Required Skills
To be successful in this position, you must have 5 years of experience in the following areas:
- Financial Operations: Reviewing, reconciling, and processing invoices and vouchers while adhering to strict prompt payment guidelines.
- Procurement Management: Managing large-scale goods and services acquisitions in complex business environments.
- Data & Analytics: Advanced Microsoft 365 skills, specifically building complex spreadsheets and Excel Pivot Tables for financial reporting.
- Vendor Relations: Acting as a professional liaison to resolve vendor disputes, handle inquiries, and manage stakeholder communication.
- Accounting Foundations: Strong general knowledge of corporate or public accounting practices and budget tracking.
Highly Desired Systems Experience
Candidates with exposure to state-level financial tools will be highly prioritized:
- Experience with e-procurement systems (eVA) (1 year preferred)
- Experience with enterprise financial management systems (Cardinal) (1 year preferred)
- Knowledge of state or public agency procurement regulations.
