Job Summary:

Essential Functions:
- Participates in the admission, discharge, and transfer of residents, observing for changes in their status and documenting accordingly
- Transcribes physician orders, administers medications, and performs wound treatments as per physicians' orders
- Provides nursing leadership to nursing personnel, providing direct care skills such as colostomy changes, tube feedings, and IV administration
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure residents' needs are holistically met
- Initiates, reviews, and updates care plans as required
- Treats all residents with dignity and respect, promoting and protecting their rights
- Establishes a culture of compliance by adhering to facility policies and procedures
- Maintains confidentiality of protected health information
- Reports noncompliance, retaliation, or discrimination to appropriate personnel
- Participates in life safety and emergency drills and trainings
- Current valid LPN license in VT
- Valid CPR certification
- At least one (1) year of nursing experience preferred
- Evidence of continuing education or special preparation or experience in gerontological nursing and/or long-term care nursing is desirable
- Competitive salary of $2000 WEEKLY
- Housing and meal stipends
