About The Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to provide high-quality respiratory care to our residents. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will assess residents, administer treatments, monitor respiratory conditions, and collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents' respiratory conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer oxygen therapy, breathing treatments, and other prescribed respiratory services.
- Provide tracheostomy care and support residents with complex respiratory needs.
- Monitor residents' progress and promptly report changes to the appropriate clinical team members.
- Maintain, inspect, and properly operate respiratory equipment.
- Educate residents, families, and staff regarding respiratory treatments and equipment.
- Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation.
- Follow all federal, state, facility, and infection-control policies and procedures.
- Participate in care planning and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Promote safe, compassionate, and resident-centered respiratory care.
- Current Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist license.
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- Current CRT or RRT credential required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or hospital settings preferred.
- Experience with tracheostomy care and respiratory equipment preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform the essential physical requirements of the position.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Salary : $45 - $50
