Job Summary: Cart Builder

The Cart Builder is responsible for assembling stainless steel carts and related products according to drawings, work orders, and quality standards. This role involves reading instructions and mechanically assembling the carts using basic hand tools. The Cart Builder works with the production and quality teams to maintain efficient workflow, meet production deadlines, and uphold safety and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and fabricate carts and related equipment from raw materials and components.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as required.
• Inspect and test assembled carts for alignment, finish quality, and functionality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify improvements in processes and product quality.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Experience in fabrication, assembly, or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of welding, grinding, and finishing techniques is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
• May involve exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

Payrate: $19 - $22 / hour
