Eau Claire Golf and Country Club is excited to announce a seasonal, part-time opportunity for a Bartender/Beverage Cart Attendant. Qualified candidates will demonstrate professionalism, strong customer service skills, and the ability to adjust their approach based on member needs and service conditions in a dynamic golf club environment.
We are currently hiring, with anticipated start dates between mid-April and mid-May based on seasonal scheduling.
Compensation: Hourly rate Tips (based on experience and role assignment).
Essential Duties – Bartender Responsibilities:
- Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a professional manner.
- Maintains general awareness of inventory levels and requests replenishment as needed.
- Applies state liquor laws and Club service guidelines using sound judgment.
- Responds to member requests and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
- Assists with bar setup, organization, and breakdown as needed for service.
- Processes member transactions accurately using the Point-of-Sale system.
- Provides beverage service for catered or special events when scheduled.
- Practices safe and responsible work habits.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Essential Duties – Beverage Cart Responsibilities:
- Prepares the beverage cart for service and confirms readiness prior to use.
- Maintains appropriate product levels and cleanliness based on service activity.
- Demonstrates knowledge of golf course etiquette and member expectations.
- Applies liquor laws and service standards while operating on the course.
- Provides attentive and personalized service based on member needs and course conditions.
- Serves food and beverage items to golfers in a professional manner.
- Responds to general questions regarding Club amenities and services.
- Processes transactions accurately using the Point-of-Sale system.
- Maintains awareness of daily activities and events that may influence service.
- Practices safe and responsible work habits.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

One year of bartending experience and/or related training preferred, or equivalent experience.
Certifications and Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Alcohol Awareness Training (or willingness to obtain).
- Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to adjust pace and priorities based on service demands.
- Familiarity with basic cocktail preparation and beverage service.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
- Comfort operating Point of Sale systems.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Dependable availability during the golf season.
