Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive EHS Manager who will provide strategic leadership and oversight of environmental, health, and safety programs across the organization. This role will indirectly lead, develop, and mentor EHS personnel while partnering with cross-functional leadership across all locations to drive a strong, sustainable culture of safety. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading EHS programs, influencing senior leadership, and driving continuous improvement at a multi-site level.
Primary Duties:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS regulations (State, Federal, and company standards).
- Own and drive the corporate EHS strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Develop and implement both organization-wide and location-specific EHS programs and policies.
- Lead, manage, and develop EHS team members on a dotted line basis, with a focus on growing their EHS body of knowledge and maintaining awareness of evolving federal, state and local EHS regulatory landscape.
- Design and deliver training programs to build EHS awareness and capability.
- Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor EHS performance and report to senior leadership.
- Oversee incident/accident investigations and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Conduct EHS audits and risk assessments, collaborating with site teams.
- Act as the company’s EHS point of contact for regulatory inquiries and permitting processes.
- Partner with facilities and operations teams to ensure fire and life safety controls are effective.
- Serve as a technical resource for management and advise leadership on risk mitigation and compliance strategy.
- Oversee the various site safety committees.
- Drive a proactive safety culture through leadership engagement, behavioral safety programs, and accountability systems.
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement, Lean, and 5S initiatives.
- Coach employees to ensure policies are followed to maintain a culture of EHS excellence.
- Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law.
- Identify safety supplies and equipment.
- Manage EHS budgets, capital projects, and vendor relationships related to safety and environmental programs.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or related experience in Engineering, Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- 8 years of progressive experience in Environmental, Health & Safety, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience leading EHS programs in a manufacturing environment.

Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
- May involve exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Travel to other locations, approx. 25%
