Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and deploy site-level EHS vision aligned with global and local regulatory requirements
- Partner with site leadership to embed EHS accountability across all operational levels
- Lead safety culture programs and employee safety committees
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations
- Manage hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control processes
- Oversee emergency preparedness and response planning
- Be the primary contact for regulatory agencies and external partners
- Deliver EHS training programs for employees and contractors
- Track, analyze, and report KPIs, audit findings, incidents, and near-miss data.
- Conduct root cause analysis and lead corrective actions to closure
- Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste programs
- Ensure accurate regulatory reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, EHS, or related field
- 5–10 years of EHS experience, preferably in laboratory or commercial environments
- Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations
- Proficiency in hazard identification, risk assessment, auditing, and root cause analysis
- 5 years of experience with health and safety management systems and emergency management
