This is an entry level human resources and payroll position with no prior HR experience required
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist in the hiring and termination process and other employee relations.
- Lead the weekly and bi weekly time collection process
- Assist in administering benefit programs.
- Assist in compliance with programs, laws and regulations.
- Maintain employee personnel files.
- Provide support and backup to Payroll Specialist.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Communicate with Spanish speaking employees
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments.
- Basic understanding of benefits administration.
- Self motivated and able to satisfactorily help managers and employees with HR issues.
- Ability to work with difficult or emotional employees or their dependents and respond appropriately.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be able to effectively resolve issues.
- High School Diploma, or equivalent.
- Microsoft excel intermediate proficiency at a minimum.
- Spanish language fluency
- Customer service experience
- Full-time, permanent position.
